I have a service manual for the ST-1200 (not the HD), if you like I could scan that this weekend and release it to the 'net. I think I may have bought it on eBay years ago - it has stamps from Tobin Cinema Systems and in fact some extra hand drawn diagrams for a 7-blade 18 fps telecine shutter and a hand drawn circuit schematic for crystal control for telecine, signed 'CHT 1-83'with revisions in pencil '4-84'. If Clive is reading this, tell me if you care if I scan and post those top secret drawings. Actually that would be WAY cool to have. Espcially the modifcations.

I've often wondered if there were shutter blade trick that would work w/ 18fps. But I doubt many have done it since 20fps is barely noticable to most. But 24 to 20 fps is certainly noticeable. Hence the 5 bladed shutter. Since most work is now done on computers the telecine speed is nearly irrlevant since it can be corrected for. The ST 1200 & H &HD all came out not too long after each other. I would bet the service manual for the 1200 is close enough.

It would be greatly appriciated. If in the long run it's not I may break down and buy one myself.
