T o disco nnect, turn all control s to the o ff (“0” ) posit ion, the n remove plug fro m outle t. Do not unplug by pul ling o n cord.

T o unpl ug, gra sp the plug, not the cord. Keep finge rs away from all moving part s. Specia l care is required around the sew ing machin e needle. Alway s use the proper nee dle plate. T he wrong plat e can cause the need le to break.

Switc h this sewin g machine of f (“0”) when maki ng any adjust ment in the need le area, such as threading the needle, changing the needle, threading the bobbin or changing the presser foot, and the like. Alway s unplug this sewi ng machine from the elec trical out let when removi ng covers, lubr icatin g, or when making any other adjustments mentioned in this owner’s manual.
